Always follow the care label on your item first. These are general tips. Each product page also lists that item's own care instructions.
Knit and cotton throws
- Wash cold on a gentle cycle, or hand wash chunky knits.
- Lay knits flat to dry so they keep their shape.
Faux fur and sherpa
- Wash cold on gentle, inside out if possible.
- Tumble dry on low or air dry. High heat can mat the fibers.
Pillow covers and table linens
- Close zippers and turn covers inside out before washing.
- Wash cold. Iron on low if the fabric allows.
Washable rugs and rug pads
- Check that the rug fits your machine drum without folding tightly.
- Wash cold on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. No bleach.
- Air dry flat or tumble dry low only if the label allows.
- Use a rug pad to reduce slipping and wear.
